Winter weather advisory now in effect, more snow coming overnight

******A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 6PM THIS EVENING UNTIL 9AM SATURDAY MORNING FOR DODGE, JEFFERSON, WAUKESHA, WALWORTH, RACINE, AND KENOSHA COUNTIES******

It’s been a cloudy and dreary Friday with rain, snow and areas of fog.

Temperatures have held steady in the mid to upper 30s across SE Wisconsin and more rain/snow is expected for the evening commute.

Along with the fog, we’ll see a change over from a rain/snow to all snow.

Between tonight and tomorrow morning an additional 2-4” of snow looks likely for most areas, with up to 5” possible in Walworth and western Racine and Kenosha counties.

The snow will begin to taper off by Saturday afternoon, giving way to cloudy and temperatures in the 30s.

On Sunday there will be a slight chance for some flurries otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 30s. Monday & Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and mild with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

There will be a chance for snow on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
