We woke up to temps in the single digits and wind chills slightly below zero, and it was a cold day with temps in the 20s despite a lot of sun. The southerly wind increased to 20-40 mph and kept wind chills in the single digits. The sun has set, but temps continue to rise to near 32 by 9pm. It will be a windy night with lows in the upper 20s...not single digits like this morning. Thursday is sunny and windy with highs in the mid to upper 30s and westerly winds gusting over 30 mph. A cold front arrives by late afternoon and temps begin to tumble.
Friday morning is in the single digits, and the gusty wind will drop wind chills below 0 for everyone. Friday will be another sunny day, but the brisk wind keeps high temps near 20 with wind chills near 0 all day. Saturday morning is back in the single digits, and clouds return on Saturday with highs in the low 20s and a light breeze. Snow showers develop Saturday evening and night and will linger into Sunday. The best chance for snow is Saturday night but hopefully it sticks around for the Packers game.
