This morning was frigid with a low of -2 in Milwaukee to -18 in Fond du Lac. If it would have been windy, chills would have been -30 to -40, easily. We got a break with the lack of wind and with all the sunshine today. It was still cold with highs in the single digits inland to 14 in Milwaukee. Tonight is clear and cold once again with lows of -10 inland to 0 in Milwaukee. Clouds increase tonight so it won't be as cold as Tuesday morning, and Wednesday is mostly cloudy with a light breeze and highs in the low teens.
The wind increases to 20 mph on Thursday so wind chills will be 0 to -5 all day with highs near 15, clouds and light snow. Most of us could see about 1" of fluff by Thursday evening. Friday stays breezy and cold with highs struggling to get out of the single digits and wind chills below 0. We wake up below 0 once again Saturday morning, and another round of light snow is possible on Saturday afternoon with 1-2" of fluffy snow expected.
