Rainfall totals so far are ranging from a quarter of an inch to more than an inch and a half with Milwaukee picking up over an inch of rain on this soggy Sunday. Fog islikely tonight after all the rainfall as warmer air starts to move in with a warm front that may touch off a shower or isolated storm early Monday morning. Temperatures will be climbing overnight to morning lows in the lower 60s.
Much of Monday will be rain-free but it will feel like summer again as temperature climb to 81 degrees in Milwaukee, feeling warmer with sticky dew points close to 70 degrees. Tuesday will be hot and humid for the first day of October but we will not stay that way as a cold front will move in late on Tuesday to bring shower, storms and the potential for heavy rainfall by Wednesday morning. That cold front will also drop temperatures into the low 60s for Wednesday with the coldest air of the season arriving for Thursday and Friday with highs only in the 50s and lows in the 40s. Some spots may even dip into the 30s on Saturday morning before slightly warmer air arrives for the weekend.
