We have enjoyed a nice Saturday with highs in the 50s and lower 60s with a lot of sun before the clouds moved in late this afternoon.
Those clouds will bring rain showers by this evening, and rain is likely overnight and it will be heavy at times. It will be a mild night with lows in the lower 40s and patchy fog. We do get a break from the heavier rain Easter Sunday morning, but there is still a chance for scattered showers until early afternoon. It will be a dreary and foggy day with highs only in the 40s thanks to a NE wind off the lake at 10-15 mph. Heavier rain return by Sunday evening and night. The wind also increases to 30 mph as the low pressure gets closer to us.
Sunday night is still tricky with the low temp around 34 in Milwaukee. We will see heavy rain most of the night, but towards morning we will see some snow mix in with the rain. We are excepting at least 1" of rain with isolated 2" amounts by Monday morning. If could enough, areas north of Milwaukee could see a few inches of snow accumulation. Central and northern Wisconsin still look to be the area hardest hit with snow...of at least 6". The precipitation shuts off midday Monday, but NW winds will gusts between 40 and 50 mph with highs in the 30s...it will be cold! Tuesday and Wednesday are windy and cold with highs in the 30s and flurries. Spring in Wisconsin.
