The unofficial start of summer is here, and we are going to kick it off with a good chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms through this evening. So far, this afternoon has been fair and breezy with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. However, later this afternoon through early tonight, there will be chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Some storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes. After midnight, expect mostly cloudy skies and some areas of patchy fog with lows in the 60s.
On Sunday, expect more clouds than sunshine with another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorm in the afternoon; highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.
More unsettled weather can be expected for the Memorial Day holiday and possibly into Tuesday.
Monday will be warm and humid with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly after 2pm otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80s. Another round of afternoon storms will be possible on Tuesday with highs near 80
