Day 2 of sunshine and highs in the mid 50s. Milwaukee missed the record of 58 from 1911 by just 2 degrees. Changes have already begun with some afternoon wind the arrival of clouds before sunset.
The clouds continue to increase tonight with lows in the mid to upper 30s, and a cold front arrives in the morning with a NE wind. That wind increases to 30 mph with temps near 40. A few showers are possible before noon, and then rain is likely in the afternoon.
Rain continues overnight with snow mixing in with the rain north of Milwaukee. Expect a wintry mix in the morning and then changes to all snow throughout the day. Temps will be in the low to mid 30s so this is a heavy wet snow, and winds will be blowing at 25-40 mph. As of right now, the lakefront looks to get about 1-2" of snow with almost 1" of rain as well. Inland areas could see 2-4" of snow by Saturday afternoon. If the rain changes to snow earlier, then the totals go up.
After some morning flurries on Sunday, it is partly cloudy, breezy and cold with highs near 30 and a 25 mph wind. Wind chills are in the teens most of the day. Monday is sunny and low 30s, and light snow returns on Tuesday
