We started the day very warm and muggy with highs in the mid 80s before noon....then the t'storms started to develop. Heavy rain and a lot of lightning slowly moved eastward and will be out of the area after 7. The rest of the evening is warm and muggy with temps near 70 and morning lows will be in the upper 60s. The AC will be working hard to keep you comfortable for tonight and the rest of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday are partly cloudy, warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s in Milwaukee to upper 80s inland. There is only a 20% chance for an afternoon shower well inland.
Thursday has scattered t'storms in the afternoon after highs get to 86 in Milwaukee. Then just in time for the holiday weekend...it gets even hotter and more humid. July is known for heat and humidity and Friday through Monday will be near 90 and very humid. There is no chance for rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and barely a cloudy for shade. By Monday, scattered storms return to the forecast.
