Snow continues Saturday morning

and last updated

Friday evening will be mainly cloudy and cold. Overnight lows will fall into the single digits and wind chills will make it feel like single digits and teens below zero.

Early Saturday morning our next round of snow arrives. Snow continues through the afternoon, wrapping up between 4 and 6 pm. We are expecting a widespread 2-3" of new snow. Roads on Saturday could be slippery, and visibilities reduced, due to the snow, so give yourself extra time on the roads if you have to travel. Highs Saturday will only be around 10-degrees, but wind chills make it feel like single digits below zero.

Saturday night into Sunday morning will be extremely cold with lows in the single digits below zero near the lake, and teens below zero inland. Wind chills will range from -20 to -30°. Sunday afternoon is partly to mostly cloudy and very cold, highs will be around 5-degrees. Another night of bitter cold is in store for Sunday night and Monday morning with lows again in the single digits and teens below zero and even colder wind chills.

Warmer weather is in sight - Tuesday we are back in the teens, and Wednesday through Friday highs are back in the 20s. Woohoo!
