Scattered showers continue overnight

Scattered storms will continue on and off through much of the Sunday evening. Overnight a few scattered showers stick around and lows drop into the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds will pick up overnight, gusting to 25 mph.

Gusty winds Monday and Tuesday set the stage for choppy conditions on Lake Michigan. Boating conditions will be dangerous, as will swimming conditions. Best to avoid recreating on the water early this week.

**A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from Sunday night through Tuesday night. Inexperienced boaters and small vessels should stay off the water during this time.**

**A Lakeshore Flood Advisory will be in place from 7 am Monday through 7 am Tuesday. Waves could be as high at 6-8 feet, causing localized flooding of low lying areas near the lakeshore.**

**A Beach Hazards statement has been issued for Monday and Tuesday. Swimming conditions will be very dangerous the next few days to due large waves and strong currents. Stay out of the water Monday and Tuesday.**

Monday clouds will hang around, along with scattered showers. Highs will only make it into the upper 60s, and with winds gusting to 30 mph, it will feel cool. Tuesday we regain some sunshine, with highs around 70°. Warmer weather returns mid week with highs back in the mid 70s Wednesday and Thursday, and we will be closer to 80 by Friday.
