Temperatures rise overnight, on and off flurries Thursday

Overnight will remain cold with temperatures in the teens and wind chills ranging from -10° to 5°. Temperatures will begin to rise overnight as winds pick up, with temperatures back to around 15° by Thursday morning.

Thursday afternoon temperatures will rise to around 30°, however, it will feel more like teens due to gusty winds. Winds will gust up to 30 mph, turning from SW to NW by late afternoon. Through the day skies will be mostly cloudy with on and off flurries; little to no accumulation expected. Thursday night temperatures will fall back into the single digits with wind chills in the single digits below zero.

Friday highs only make it into the teens with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Friday night is another very cold night with lows in the single digits.

The weekend looks fairly quiet with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs Saturday will be in the low 20s, Sunday expect upper 20s.

Early next week we see a significant warm-up. Highs Monday will be in the mid 30s, Tuesday we could get close to 40° with a few rain showers. Then a front moves through early Wednesday, bringing a surge of cold air and changing rain over to snow. We will be keeping a close eye on this system, check back for updates.
