As the storm passes to our south with snow showers as close as Chicago, we have been cloudy and very windy today with NE gusts to 40 mph. The high temp was only 37 after a mild morning low of 34. You can expect a few flurries along the lakefront this evening and very isolated light snow along the lakefront thanks to the gusty NE wind blowing some of the snow in our direction. Milwaukee to Kenosha will see less than 1” of accumulation by morning. The overnight low is in the mid 20s with a north wind at 20-30 mph. We will see a little bit of sun on Wednesday afternoon with a high near 32 and a north wind gusting to 30 mph.
The wind is a little lighter on Thursday and Friday with gusts near 20 mph, but despite sunshine, it will be chilly. High temps will be in the 20s with lows in the teens and wind chills near 0. Saturday is sunny with a light breeze and a high near 32. Clouds increase late Sunday, but it starts to warm up with a high near 40. Next week looks mild with highs in the mid 40s and a chance for a wintry mix on Tuesday.
