Most of us picked up a few hundredths of an inch up to a tenth of an inch of rain last night and this morning but the sunshine has made a return and so has "cooler by the lake" with a lake breeze and lake clouds keeping temperatures in the mid-40s there. Tonight will be mainly clear with a light northeast wind allowing temperatures away from Lake Michigan to drop into the upper 20s while shore-side spots are closer to the freezing mark.
Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny with highs in the 50s for most of us, except if you live close to Lake Michigan where an easterly wind will keep temperature in the upper 40s. The wind will be light and the sky will be blue so it will at least feel nice across all of southeastern Wisconsin.
Clouds roll in on Monday and bring a chance for some rain late in the day on Monday with a warm front passing through to bring everyone into the 50s. Rainfall will be relatively light with about a tenth of an inch expected in Milwaukee and up to a quarter of an inch south of I-94. This warm front will bring more clouds for Tuesday but also temperatures in the mid to upper-60s with additional scattered rain chances.
Wednesday will be the nicest day out of the work week with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 60s. A strong cold front sweeps through Wednesday night to bring some showers but it will mainly drop our temperatures into the 40s for Thursday and beyond, a chilly 2nd week for April.
