It has been a classic fall day with dreary, dark skies, rain, sleet, snow mix and chilly temps. Some inland areas had about 1-2" of snow on the ground before 11 am and then it melted with the rain and sleet the rest of the day. Showers continue this evening with temps holding steady or slowly rising into the upper 30s and near 40. Patchy fog will also be an issue along with the wet roads. Wednesday is warmer with temps in the mid 40s, but it is cloudy and dreary with rain showers and fog. By Wednesday evening, most of us will have received about 1" of rain from this system.
Thanksgiving looks great with some sun, a light breeze and highs near 50. Friday and Saturday stay mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the mid 40s and a light breeze. The wind picks up on Sunday out of the west at 25 mph. Clouds increase and we have a slight chance for rain with highs in the low to mid 40s. A cold front arrives Sunday night and it is windy and cold Monday and Tuesday with highs near freezing.
