After last night’s snow were in for a much colder night. We’re also still tracking the chance for another round of wintry precipitation on Friday. Tonight will be partly cloudy and colder with lows in the teens and single digits. We will kick off New Year’s Eve with some sunshine and stay dry, but partly cloudy in the afternoon; expect highs in the 20s.
Friday morning we’ll be tracking an area of low pressure lifting out of Texas which will likely first bring a wintry mix into the area. We should see this wintry mix change over to all snow Friday afternoon. Right now, only minor snow accumulations are expected from this system.
The weekend is looking quiet and cool. We’ll see more clouds than sunshine on Saturday with highs in the upper 30s. Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30s.
