You'll be able to see the sun again this weekend along with near record warmth

and last updated

After some morning fog and freezing drizzle, today was day 10 of clouds with highs in the low to mid 30s. One year ago today the high was -2 with wind chills to -35 during the day, and the overnight low dropped to -23 with wind chills to -51. It will be much warmer tonight with lows near 30 and a dusting of light snow. Fog develops again tonight with a chance for freezing drizzle before 8am. Once the fog burns off, there is a chance to see some sun in the afternoon with highs in the upper 30s and a west wind to 15 mph.

Sunday is finally sunny and windy with Spring Fever as highs get into the mid to upper 40s from a strong SW wind at 25 mph. The record for Sunday is 49 degrees from 1992. If we didn’t have snow on the ground, we would have easily been in the 50s on Sunday. Clouds return on Monday with a high of 40, and we are tracking snow showers for Tuesday.
