While the radar showed a huge area of rain to our west this morning, all we got was clouds and a few sprinkles to light rain by late afternoon. Despite the clouds, we got to 81 along with the high humidity. The isolated showers are possible overnight with the damp air and lows in the lower 60s. Friday is still partly cloudy, warm and humid with highs near 80 and an isolated shower in the early morning, and again late afternoon. Any rain should be out of here before high school football games. It continues to stay humid with temps in the upper 60s for Friday evening.
Saturday is mostly cloudy, very humid and windy with highs in the upper 70s and SW winds to 30 mph. While there is a chance for spotty showers throughout the day, the best chance for showers and t’storms is in the afternoon and evening. The heaviest rain is likely Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon still has a chance for scattered showers with highs in the low to mid 70s, high humidity and westerly wind at 20 mph. We finally get relief from the humidity on Monday behind the cold front with sunshine and highs in the lower 70s. That comfortable fall air is with us all of next week with a chance for showers late Wednesday along another cold front.
