More rain on the way for this weekend

It’s been cloudy and cool this Thursday with some light rain and drizzle at times. There will continue to be chance for scattered showers early this evening. The rest of tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s. On Friday expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 40s. More scattered showers will move into SE Wisconsin late Friday night.

The weekend continues to look wet and unsettled as a stronger area of low pressure is expected to move into the Midwest, bringing good chances for rain and the possibility of some thunderstorms, especially near the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Saturday will be a windy and rain day with wind gust up 40 mph and highs in the 50s. More scattered showers can be expected for Sunday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. The start of next week will be mostly sunny and dry with highs in the 50s.
