If you love heat and humidity then you will love this week. Todays highs were in the low 90s with a heat index near 100 before isolated downpours fired up in the afternoon. This evening is rain-free but it will be warm and humid with temps near 80 at 10pm. If you don't have AC, it will be uncomfortable sleeping with lows in the low to mid 70s and thick air. There is plenty of sunshine Tuesday with highs near 90 by noon and then scattered t'storms develop in the afternoon.
Wednesday only has an isolated chance for an afternoon t'storm with highs in the lower 90s and a heat index near 100. Thursday has the best chance for t'storms in the afternoon with highs near 90. Scattered t'storms are possible on Friday ahead of a cold front that will give us a little weekend relief. The weekend is sunny and a little less humid with highs in the mid 80s on Saturday and low 80s on Sunday.
