Breezy and sunny Tuesday

and last updated

After a beautiful weekend, clouds started to increase late Sunday ahead of the next storm system that brought downpours overnight and throughout the day. It has been the past month, at least 1.5” below normal, and we made up for that today with more than 1.5” of rain in Milwaukee and the area. Sheboygan received the least at 0.5”. The showers are tapering off this evening, but there is still a chance for a spotty shower until midnight. Temps will stay in the mid 60s tonight and it will be damp ahead of a cold front. That front gets rid of the clouds and humidity for Tuesday, and it will be breezy and warm with highs in the upper 70s.

The wind is the issue for this week with a couple of cold fronts working through the area. Wednesday is mostly sunny and windy with westerly gusts to 30 mph, very low humidity and highs in the lower 70s. Thursday is near 80 with a strong SW wind to 30 mph. There is a chance for spotty showers in the afternoon ahead of the next cold front. The best chance for rain in Green Bay is during tailgating and should be out of the area by kickoff. Behind the front, Friday and the holiday weekend is like this past weekend…ideal. Sunny, low humidity, highs in the lower 70s and lows in the 50s.
