It was cold, but at least it sunny and the wind died down throughout the day. The temp drops quickly under a clear sky and light breeze this evening and the low should be around 9 around midnight…the record is 5. Then clouds increase and a SW wind develops and temps will rise to 16 by 7am. Wind chills will be near 0. Wednesday is cloudy and windy with a SW wind gusting to 30 mph, and snow will develop by late afternoon. Another 1-2” of snow is expected by the evening commute creating long drive times and headaches.
The sun returns on Thursday with highs near freezing, and Friday is sunny and in the mid 30s. Saturday has a few clouds and a high of 37, and despite clouds on Sunday, highs will be near 40. There is an isolated chance for a light wintry mix.
