It was a great run of 4 beautiful sunny days, but the changes began today with clouds and more dampness in the air. Despite the clouds, high temp still were in the mid top upper 60s before the light rain moved in around 5pm. We will dodge on and off rain drops for the rest of the evening and overnight. There will also be areas of patchy fog, and we stay mild tonight with lows in the lower 60s. Friday’s high is 64..8am! Then the cold front moves through and temps drop as a cold wind increases to 30 mph. Showers are likely all day, and will be heavy at times with an inch of rain expected by 6pm. The rain looks to be out of here for high school football, but it will be windy and cold with temps near 40 and wind chills in the 20s.
Saturday morning is windy and cold with temps in the 30s and wind chill sin the 20s. It stays windy and cold all day Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 40s with a 25 to 35 mph wind. It will be a raw day, but at least it will be sunny. Sunday morning is in the mid 30s and the afternoon is mid 40s with clouds, spotty light rain and a very gusty wind. Inland areas will see the first frost of the season. After morning frost on Monday, the afternoon is sunny and chilly with highs near 50. Clouds and showers return on Tuesday with highs in the low 50s.
