Rain, snow move in this weekend

and last updated

It is a chilly but quiet day with some clouds (no snow today!), and a brisk NW breeze keeping wind chills near 30. Tonight is quiet and partly cloudy with a low of 34.

Saturday starts out quiet and mild with a high of 54 thanks to a SW wind at 10-20 mph. Then the rain moves in after 3pm and showers are likely in the evening and overnight with a low near 40.

Easter Sunday is not nice. It will be cloudy, breezy and foggy with highs in the low 40s near the lake to upper 40s inland. Rain is likely throughout the day, but the heaviest will move in by late afternoon and overnight. This storm intensifies over us Sunday night and we could see more than a half inch of rain. The wind also starts to increase to over 30 mph. Sunday night is tricky because the low of 33 could allow the rain to change to heavy wet snow.

As of now, Milwaukee and south is expecting less than 1" of snow by Monday midday, but areas north of Milwaukee could see 2-3"...or more. Central Wisconsin is currently expecting 5-10" of heavy snow. Stay tuned because if and how much sow we could see depends on that Sunday night temperature.
