Sunday showers

and last updated

Flash Flood Watches are posted just to our south in Chicago and while we don't have that threat, we are going to see rain as we roll into the overnight hours. Storms and showers fire up ahead of a warm front late tonight, moving into Milwaukee mainly after 4am with the heaviest rain ending before noon though there will be some lingering showers. The day will be quite damp and dreary with mostly cloudy skies after the cold rain with a breeze mainly off Lake Michigan, highs will barely hit the 60 degree mark.

The warm front makes it through on Monday morning after briefly touching off a few isolated showers or storms with highs jumping 20 degrees into the 80s with the humidity returning on a southerly breeze. It will stay warm, humid and breezy on Tuesday with a few spotty showers or storms but the main rain comes late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning with a strong cold front to drag us back into the low 60s, which is where we'll stay for the rest of the week. The one exception being on Friday with mostly sunny skies and unseasonably cool highs in the upper 50s.
