The low humidity and gusty westerly wind to 30 mph felt great today with highs near 80, but another warm week is about to come to an end just in time for the weekend.
A cold front is in northern WI and will move through the state by this evening. Ahead of that front there are a few spotty showers that will dissipate by 7 p.m. We drop into the mid 60s by 10pm and wake up to 55 in the morning.
Friday is mostly sunny with a slight chance for an afternoon sprinkle, otherwise the big story is the chill. Highs will struggle to get to 61 in Milwaukee and ll fall into the 5s in the afternoon thanks to a NE wind at 15 mph. Inland areas will be near 70.
That scenario plays out over the weekend once again. The NE wind keeps Milwaukee and the lakefront near 60 while inland is near 70. It will be sunny all weekend and it will be chilly in the mornings with lows in the upper 40s.
The warm-up begins on Monday with a high of 72, 79 on Tuesday and mid to upper 80s the rest of the week. It will be sunny all week with a few t'storms on Thursday.
