It was the coldest morning of the season so far with lows near 50 in Milwaukee to lower 40s inland. The dry air and sunshine helped us warm into the upper 60s near the lake to lower 70s inland… a perfect day. A line of downpours has been tracking across northern Wisconsin, and has been severe at times. That line stays north of us this evening, but we can expect a few spotty showers after midnight. It won’t be as chilly tonight with lows in the 60s thanks to the clouds. There is a chance for a few sprinkles in the morning, then we enjoy some sunshine Friday afternoon with highs in the low 70s. A strong NW wind to 25 mph will drop the humidity in the afternoon and temps fall into the 60s by 5pm. It will be dry, cool and breezy for high school football.
Saturday is partly cloudy and pleasant with highs in the lower 70s, and Sunday will only be in the 60s with clouds and scattered showers. Monday is still in the lower 70s with a few showers late afternoon, but summer returns on Tuesday with humidity, a gusty SW wind, highs near 80 and scattered t’storms.
