Warmest day of the week coming on Tuesday

and last updated

After a scorcher of a weekend, the evening downpours brought some cooler and much less humid air for today.

The morning had stubborn clouds, and the afternoon has been sunny and warm with highs near 80 and a great NW breeze.

This evening will be in the 70s and tonight will be clear with morning lows in the low to mid-60s. Tuesday is the warmest day of the workweek, even at the lake, with a high of 86 from a west wind at 15 mph.

There is just a 20% chance of a pop-up afternoon t'shower. Most of us don't see a drop of rain.

Wednesday is sunny with a high of 81 by noon and the afternoon cools into the 70s with a NE wind. Get used to the refreshing NE breeze, a lot of sun, and dry air for the rest of the week with highs in the upper 70s for Thursday and Friday. Saturday stays comfortably dry with a high of 81, and Sunday is back in the upper 70s with an isolated chance for a t'shower.
