The sunshine made it through the clouds this afternoon but the wind off Lake Michigan is keeping our temperatures in check. Tonight will be partly cloudy with seasonal lows in the lower 30s.
Wednesday will be a nice day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 50s. Get outside during the morning hours and midday because by the late afternoon there is a chance for a few sprinkles. Most of the rain comes after 9pm in the evening hours with a quarter of an inch of rain expected as the cold front moves through.
Temperatures fall back into the mid-40s for Thursday with a chance for light rain/sprinkles by the end of the day. A more impressive storm system moves in for Friday night through Sunday morning, bringing off and on rain showers and a chance for a few rumbles of thunder. Saturday will be the wettest day with highs in the low 50s so this should stay mainly as rain but it could bring a half an inch to an inch of water to the area.
