Mostly cloudy and cool this evening, but not freezing

and last updated

A week ago today it was sunny and 60…today it was not. While we did have some sunshine, it was mostly cloudy and still below normal with highs in the low to mid 40s. Those clouds will bring rain, yes rain showers this evening and overnight along with patchy fog. Lows will remain in the upper 30s with a few sprinkles in the morning. Monday is mostly cloudy and cool with highs in the mid 40s and sprinkles in the afternoon.

Tuesday is sunny, breezy and cold with highs in the upper 30s and wind chills in the 20s thanks to a westerly wind to 20 mph. Clouds increase late in the day and snow showers are likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with about 1” of snow. Wednesday afternoon is cloudy with scattered light rain and highs in the lower 40s. Another cold front moves through the area on Thursday with highs struggling to get out of the 20s and a brisk NW wind. Thankfully it will be sunny on Thursday and Friday, but we stay cold on Friday with a high of 32.
