From yesterday’s 50 to today’s sunshine and highs only in the 30s…the cold front has brought the Canadian air to SE Wisconsin. To make it worse, the brisk wind kept wind chills in the 20s all day. Clouds increase this evening and snow showers are likely after 4am into Wednesday evening with about 2-4” of snow. There is a Winter weather advisory from 3am until 3pm for Milwaukee to Madison and areas north. Areas south of Milwaukee are not in the advisory since they will see less than 2” of snow.

3am-7am Snow moves in. Less than 1”
7am-11am Heaviest snow 1-2” Isolated 3” amounts
11am-4pm Rain/snow mix
4pm-9pm Light snow. About 0.5”
Most of the area will see 2-4” of snow, with areas south of Milwaukee getting 1-2” of snow by Wednesday evening.
Another cold front moves through the area Wednesday night with lows in the teens and 20s Thursday morning and highs struggling to get out of the 20s and a brisk NW wind. Wind chills will be in the teens all day. Thankfully it will be sunny on Thursday and Friday, but we stay cold on Friday with a high of 29 after a low of 16.
