Mild and dry weather continues all week

and last updated

It was nice once again today, but not yesterday’s record 54. After a midday high of 48, a cold front moved into the area with clouds and temps dropped into the 30s and lower 40s. The north wind is dropping wind chills into the 20s and 30s. Even though it is dreary, there will not be any rain or snow on the roads tonight for travelers.

There will be some patchy fog tonight and lows in the mid 30s despite the front. That is still 4 degrees warmer than the normal high temperature. After the morning fog, Tuesday is partly cloudy and hazy with a high of 48.

The beautiful and dry weather continues the rest of the week with Christmas day mostly cloudy and 50, and Thursday has clouds with a high of 50! Friday has some sunshine and cooler temps with highs in the lower 40s. That is still more than 10 degrees above normal.

We are tracking our first precipitation in 2 weeks for Saturday with rain and highs near 40. The rain changes to snow Saturday night and Sunday with gusty winds and highs in the low to mid 30s. Up North could see a lot of snow over the weekend…stay tuned.
