More Heat and Humidity for Monday

and last updated

We are wrapping up this holiday weekend with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 80s. Our pattern of mild nights and hot afternoons will continue for most of this week. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the 70s. Expect more of the same for Monday and Tuesday with hot & humid conditions along with the chance for some pop-up showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will range from the upper 80s to lower 90s.

The heat and humidity will continue to stick around through the middle and the end of the week. On Wednesday, expect a slight chance for some isolated showers and thunderstorms otherwise partly cloudy skies with highs near 90°. On Thursday and Friday and we could see a little more coverage in the afternoon thunderstorm activity across SE Wisconsin- so some quick downpours will be possible.

Some isolated thunderstorms will be possible for next Saturday otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 80s.

The heat and humidity linger into the start of the week…details coming up.

More chances for pop-up thunderstorms on the way…I’ll have the latest tonight.
