One more dry day before showers move in for the weekend

We will get to enjoy one more dry day before chances for showers and storms begin to head our way for the weekend.

After starting out this morning with temperatures in 50s & 60s, we have warmed into the upper 70s and lower 80s this afternoon. More quiet weather can be expected for tonight with mostly clear skies and lows in the 60s near the lake; some 50s inland. Friday will be another gorgeous day with a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky and highs in the lower 80s.

We are still on track to see some showers and thunderstorms this weekend. Saturday morning will start out mostly sunny but, in the afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible; expect highs near 85°. On Sunday, there will only be a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the 80s. Cooler, drier air will move in for the start of next week. Monday and Tuesday are looking sunny with highs in the low to mid 70s.
