Milwaukee ended up with 1.3” of snow last night, and areas south with less than 1” as expected. Most of the area north and west of Milwaukee had the 2-3” of snow like expected, but there was an areas from Watertown to Beaver Bam to Hartford that had 4-6”of heavy wet snow.
The sun was out today to help melt the slush off the roads, and the strong wind helped dry them out before temps drop into the single digits tonight. With a breeze of 10-15 mph, wind chills by morning will be 0 to -10…the coldest being inland. Despite a sunny day, Wednesday’s highs will struggle to hit 20 with wind chills in the single digits.
Thursday morning is near 0 in Milwaukee to -6 inland, and wind chills will be -10 to -20. By afternoon, we have a lot of sunshine and a light breeze, but we don’t get out of the teens. We stay sunny on Friday, but a warm up begins with a SW wind at 10-20 mph with highs in the low to mid 30s.
You will have Spring Fever this weekend with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 40s. We stay near 40 on Monday and Tuesday, and we don’t see any snow or rain until next Tuesday night.
