March is starting out twenty degrees warmer than average with highs for many in the 50s today under plenty of sunshine. The clouds are moving in however as a cold front approaches from the west to calm the breezy wind down and change it to a northwest wind overnight with morning lows close to 30 degrees.
Monday will start with a few clouds but the sunshine will be back quickly, although it will not help warm us up as much as today due to the northwest wind keeping highs in the low 40s. A weak warm front bumps us back into the upper 40s for Tuesday, bringing a chance for a few sprinkles along with it before the cold front moves through on Wednesday to nudge us back into the low 40s with a sprinkle chance. The air is relatively dry so we are not expecting much in terms of precipitation accumulation but don't be shocked to see some sprinkles as the fronts move through.
There is a slightly better chance for light rain on Thursday with a warm front that brings us close to 50 degrees again before a breezy northwest wind drops us back into the low 40s for Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Sunday is warm, windy and wet by the evening with rain likely.
