The clouds were will us all day and the flurries and light snow moved in just in time for the evening commute. Overall we are expecting just wet main roads, but the side streets will be snow covered and slick. With temps at or slightly above freezing in Milwaukee and south, that snow will change to sleet and rain. That will keep snow totals to 1” or less for Milwaukee and south. Areas north of Milwaukee will see 1-3” of snow and Fond du Lac and Sheboygan could see as much as 4”. As a result, Sheboygan and Fond du lac are under a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight. The wintry mess will be out of here around midnight and then it is windy with lows in the mid to upper 20s.
Tuesday is partly cloudy to mostly sunny, breezy and seasonal with a high of 32. Cold air moves in Tuesday night with lows in the single digits and Wednesday’s highs will struggle to hit 20 despite a lot of sun. Thursday morning is near 0 with afternoon highs once again barely hitting 20. At least it is sunny with a light breeze. We stay sunny on Friday, but a SW wind develops at 10-20 mph with highs in the middle 30s. You will have Spring Fever this weekend with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 40s.
