Rain/flurries mix continues Friday

Winter Weather Advisory begins at Noon Thursday through Friday for Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Washington, and Dodge counties.
and last updated

The wintry mix is moving into SE Wisconsin and the roads will be wet and slick throughout the evening and overnight. There is a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 am for Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Washington and Dodge counties, but everyone will see the wintry mix. The SE breeze will keep temps along the lakefront above freezing most of the evening so it looks like cold rain there until late.

The lakefront will get less than 1" of snow. Inland areas will be near freezing with 1-3" of wet slushy snow. The snow looks to be down by 1 am and then we have flurries and drizzle by morning with lows near freezing. Friday is dreary and damp with flurries and drizzle all day with no additional snow accumulation. Friday's high temps will be in the mid-30s.

Saturday remains cloudy and mild with highs in the mid 30s and scattered flurries. The NW wind at 20 mph will keep wind chills near 20. Sunday is cloudy and 30 degrees with a dusting of light snow, and Monday is dry and 30. Tuesday has another chance for light snow.

***A Winter Weather Advisory begins at 6pm Thursday and continues through 6am Friday for Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Washington, and Dodge counties. The evening commute will be impacted, and roads may be slick. These areas are expected to see 2-4" of snow.***
