Last night’s low was 10 before the clouds and SW breeze increased and temps slowly started to rise overnight. By 7am, Milwaukee was 17, but the gusty wind kept wind chills near 0. Today was cloudy and windy with a SW wind gusting to 30 mph, and light snow developed this morning well to the north of Milwaukee, and just in time for the evening commute in Milwaukee. Light snow is expected this evening until about 10pm with less than 1” of accumulation in Milwaukee and south, to 1-2” north. Tonight is mostly cloudy and not as cold with a low near 20and a light NW breeze. The sun returns on Thursday with highs near freezing and we can start melting some of this snow.
Friday is also sunny and in the mid 30s with a light northerly breeze. It will feel “nice” after this cold snap. Saturday has a few clouds and a high of 36, and despite clouds on Sunday, highs will be near 40. There is an isolated chance for a light wintry mix in the afternoon. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have a lot of sun with highs in the lower 40s.
