Less windy, but still chilly for Tuesday evening

It was another nasty night and day with scattered showers and drizzle, and winds gusting to 40 mph. This evening remains windy with gusts to 30 mph, light rain and drizzle until about 8pm, then the clouds clear out overnight and the wind diminishes to 20 mph. Morning lows will be in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s. We do get to enjoy some sunshine early in the day, then clouds increase Wednesday afternoon with highs in the lower 50s. The SW wind is much lighter at 10-20 mph. Those clouds will bring scattered showers after 5pm tomorrow evening…less than ½” is expected.

The rest of the week is sunny and chilly. Thursday’s high is 48 with a light breeze, and Friday is 47 after morning lows near 32. The weekend looks mostly dry and sunny with highs in the mid 50s. The sun will feel great! There is a slight chance for a pop up shower Sunday afternoon, but most of us never see a drop.
