After 1-2" of rain overnight and this morning we are getting a break from the downpours until later tonight. We are still dreary and damp with temps in the 50s, fog, and drizzle.
A warm front is along the state line with temps in the 70s in Chicago. As it lifts northward Milwaukee will warm into the mid 60s by 10 p.m. It gets windy tonight with gusts over 30 mph. Heavy rain and a few t'showers roll in after midnight and we could see another inch or more of rain by Friday morning.
The cold front passes through in the morning and shifts the wind to the northwest. As a result, the high temp is in the morning with temps in the 50s and then temps drop into the low to mid 40s the rest of the day. Wind chills will be in the 30s. The rain moves out before noon and we might see some sun in the afternoon.
Saturday is sunny but cold. Morning lows will be near 30 (even in Milwaukee), and the afternoon will only get into the low to mid 40s. But at least the sun will help it feel a little better. Clouds return on Sunday with a high of 45 and rain is likely in the afternoon. It will be a dreary day. Next week is cold with a few days struggling to hit 40 for a high.
