Sunday morning rain and thundershowers

and last updated

WISCONSIN — Sunday morning rain and thundershowers will move across SE Wisconsin. A few of these storms could be strong to severe, producing lightning, strong winds, and small hail. Any rain and storms end by 9 am, and skies will begin to clear, giving us mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies the rest of the day. Winds will shift during the day, from the southwest in the morning, to the northwest by tonight. As the winds turn, slightly cooler and less humid air will filter in. You will notice the decrease in humidity from morning to night. Afternoon highs will be dependent on how quickly the winds shift, but I expect highs to still make it into the mid 80s.

Overnight skies will be mainly clear, and lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s. Monday looks largely dry with some sunshine. Temperatures will be much more comfortable, with highs in the mid 70s and comfortable humidity levels.

Tuesday brings the return of rain and thunderstorms with highs in the upper 70s. Highs will be back in the 80s Wednesday with a few storms, before cooling back off to mid 70s on Thursday.
