We started the day with lows in the 30s and some sun, but clouds were stubborn today and it was mostly cloudy with highs near 50. At least the wind was much lighter, only 5-10 mph. The clouds clear out overnight, and with a calm wind, expect inland frost as lows drop to near freezing west of Milwaukee and upper 30s along the lakefront. Friday is sunny, breezy and mild with a high of 60…that is the pick day of the week despite a 20 mph wind off the lake.
Another storm system is here for Saturday with clouds, a SW breeze, highs near 60 and scattered showers mainly in the afternoon. The day is not a washout, but the best chance for rain is early afternoon with less than a quarter of an inch. Sunday is much nicer with sunshine, a light breeze and highs in the low 60s. Another storm system brings clouds and gusty winds to 30 mph on Monday with highs in the lower 60s and t’showers likely. Behind the cold front, it is windy and colder on Tuesday with highs near 50 and a 35 mph wind.
