This morning was the coldest day of the season so far with lows in the upper 20s inland...a hard freeze. Milwaukee was a frosty 36. Friday was sunny and windy with highs in the upper 40s inland to mid 50s in Milwaukee. The westerly wind was still around 30 mph.
Late this afternoon a few showers developed and they will be with us until about 8pm...the rain will be light. It will be cold with temps dropping into the upper 40s by 9pm.
Overnight the inland areas drop into the upper 290s again while Milwaukee is 35.
A warm front will bring clouds and rain showers for early Saturday, and despite the cloud cover we hit 60 in the afternoon. That is thanks to a strong southerly wind at 30-50 mph. A wind advisory is in effect for most of SE Wisconsin until 7pm.
The cold front moves in Saturday night and we will see a few showers Sunday morning. There will be some sun in the afternoon with a NW wind at only 10-15 mph. High temps will only be in the 40s.
Monday starts with a morning freeze and then highs in the 40s with scattered showers. Tuesday is cloudy and 51 with rain by evening and Wednesday is 53 with a few afternoon showers.
