After waking up to some areas of dense fog, we are wrapping up this Wednesday afternoon with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 50s. Tonight will be the start of a soggy, unsettled weather pattern for us with several chances for rain through the end of the week. Expect increasing clouds this evening with rain moving in late; lows will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s. Another round of scattered showers will be possible off and on throughout the day on Thursday. Highs will stay cool, in the low to mid 40s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 40s. More scattered showers will move into SE Wisconsin late Friday night.
A stronger area of low pressure will begin to impact the area for the weekend, bringing good chances for rain and the possibility of some thunderstorms, especially near the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Saturday will be a windy and rain day with wind gust up 40 mph and highs in the 50s. More scattered showers can be expected for Sunday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
