Fog clears for mostly sunny, humid Tuesday

and last updated

The humidity increased on Sunday and that led to dense fog this morning which stuck around until mid-morning. Once the sun came out, temps warmed into the 70s with some humidity. Inland areas got close to 80, but a light easterly breeze dropped the lakefront back into the 60s with more fog by 5pm. Expect more patchy dense fog tonight, especially closer to the lakefront. Lows tonight will be near 60. Once the fog burns off Tuesday morning, it will be another beautiful afternoon with highs in the mid 70s by noon followed by a SE breeze and temps falling back into the 60s near the lake.

More patchy dense fog to start the day on Wednesday and a southerly breeze will help warm us up close to 80 in the afternoon. It will feel more like August with the humidity. That summer warmth and humidity continues on Thursday and Friday with highs near 80 and isolated afternoon pop up t’showers. The best chance for rain this week is on Saturday with showers and t’storms ahead of a cold front. It will be very humid and windy with a SW wind gusting to 30 mph. Sunday is finally less humid and sunny with highs in the 70s.
