Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for Washington, Walworth, Fond du Lac, Dodge, Jefferson and Waukesha counties until 2 a.m.
Last night’s downpours dropped 1-5” of rain across the area causing flooding issues, and with more rain on the way tonight everyone is under a Flash Flood watch until 7am Friday. We are also under a slight risk for severe storms but todays clouds, fog and cool temps will hopefully reduce that threat. Western Wisconsin is getting hit hard this evening with severe storms and tornadoes, and its that line that will bring another 1-2” of rain overnight to SE Wisconsin. The cold front sweeps through Friday morning and drier air moves in throughout the day. We will be sunny and 75 but the westerly wind will gust to 30 mph.
Saturday is gorgeous with low humidity and a high of 77. More rain moves into the area Saturday night and Sunday morning, but the rain is out of here before noon. The rest of the day is warm, breezy and humid with highs near 80. Monday is sunny and in the lower 70s with an easterly breeze. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are sunny and humid with highs near 80…and no rain!
