Fall-like temperatures in store for this weekend

and last updated

Finally a nice fall-like Friday with clear skies as we head into the overnight hours, temperatures will fall into the low 40s near Lake Michigan and upper 30s inland with a calming wind. Saturday starts with some sunshine but the clouds will move in as the day progresses. Temperatures will hit 60 degrees on a breezy southerly wind ahead of a cold front which will bring a chance for rain mainly between 5pm and 11pm as it moves from the west to the east. Not much rain is expected and when you do see the showers, it will only be for about an hour or so with a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain expected.

Sunday starts out with temperatures in the 40s and we warm into the low 60s with a lighter wind and plenty of sunshine, making it the best day out of the weekend to get some raking in.
A more impressive storm system rolls in on Monday to bring cloudy, rainy and windy conditions to southeastern Wisconsin. Highs fall from the low 60s on Monday to the low 50s on Tuesday as the rain ends early in the morning. The rest of the week will have temperatures close to 50 degrees. The next chance for rain comes on Thursday to knock temperatures into the upper 40s for Friday and it will be a struggle to climb too far into the 50s next weekend.
