Frigid temperatures forecasted to start the week

and last updated

Another very cold night is ahead for SE Wisconsin. Low temperatures will fall into the single digits below zero near the lake, with lows closer to -10° inland. Wind chill values will range from -10 to -20°. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy.

Monday will be a mainly cloudy day. A few light snow showers are possible through the day with little to no accumulation expected. The best chance for any light accumulations will be near the Illinois state line late Monday into early Tuesday. High temperatures Monday will warm up to around 10°, but it will feel like anywhere from 0 to -10°.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper single digits to low teens. Wednesday through Friday there is not much consensus in the models, so the forecast going forward may change. As of now, it looks like mid to late week will bring a few on and off light snow showers and continued cold temperatures with highs in the single digits and teens, and lows in the single digits about and below zero.
