Welcome to the unofficial end of summer - and it feels like it.
No rain Monday afternoon, but it was dreary and chilly with highs in the lower 60s. The rain moves in after 10 p.m. and it will be a soggy night and Tuesday. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50s and Tuesday's highs will struggle to hit 60. That is normal for the 3rd week of October. It is chilly, windy (NE 20-35 mph) and showers throughout the day. We could see at least 1" of rain with isolated higher amounts.
Scattered showers continue on Wednesday with clouds, a brisk NE wind at 10-20 mph, and highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Another half inch of rain is possible. The weather starts to improve a little on Thursday with highs in the mid 60s and sunshine. There is just an isolated chance for a pop up shower. Friday is sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 60s and a light breeze. Saturday is back in the 70s, but showers and t'storms are likely. Sunday is sunny and in the low 70s.
