Thankfully the sun came out this afternoon because that NW wind to 30 mph was cold with highs in the 40s inland to low to mid 50s in Milwaukee.
The wind dies down to 4-10 mph tonight and under a clear sky we have the coldest night of the season so far. A Freeze Warning is in effect for all of SE Wisconsin tonight except for Milwaukee and the lakefront. Those spots will be frosty and in the mid 30s while everyone else will drop to near 30. At least the wind is light.
Clouds increase on Friday with a SW wind to 20 mph (lightest of the week) highs in the low to mid 50s and a few showers popping up in the afternoon and evening. The rain will be light for the high school football games.
Saturday is cloudy and mild with a high of 58, but scattered showers are likely and the gusty wind returns. Southerly winds will gust to 40-45 mph all day ahead of the next cold front. Sunday has a slight chance for showers in the morning and then will have some sun with a brisk NW wind and highs in the 40s. Monday has showers with highs in the 40s, and rain is likely all day on Tuesday.
